Write the team name and Walker name on each check · Write the team name and walker name on each check and/or money order before turning it in · This helps ensure all Walk donations are posted to the correct team and Walker!
Don’t Turn in Cash · Convert your cash donations into a check or money order before turning it in. · Checks and money orders are more secure than cash.
Be sure personal checks have the donors address on it · Some personal checks list only the name of the donor. In this case, if you know the address of the donor, please write it on the check. · We provide acknowledgement letters for any donations of $100 and above, and in order to do so, we need the address of the donor.
Money Orders/ Bank Checks/ Treasurers Checks · Not all money orders/ bank checks/ treasurers checks include the name and address of the person purchasing it. · In this case, be sure to write the name and address of the person who purchased the money order on the money order, in addition to the team name and walker name. · We provide acknowledgement letters for any donations of $100 and above, and in order to do so, we need the address of the donor. The Walk will take place RAIN OR SHINE! All submissions for the 2007 T-Shirt Contest must be received by September 21st Teams with 20 Walkers or more - registered in advance of Walk Day - will have a registration table of its own
